CARDIOVASCULAR AND INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF EUROPE (CIRSE)
The Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) is a non-profit, educational and scientific association aiming to improve patient care through the support of teaching, science, research and clinical practice in the field of cardiovascular and interventional radiology. This is achieved through state-of-the-art meetings; publication and media activity; educational workshops and grants; and scientific, advocacy and patient safety initiatives. Furthermore the Society provides an examination for its members – the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR), which is the European qualification in Interventional Radiology.
The Annual Congress takes place every year in September. The European Conference on Interventional Oncology is an annual event organised by the CIRSE Foundation.
