In this interview with Ellen Beth Levitt, Dr. Karen Anderson, a neuropsychiatrist at the University of Maryland Medical Center, describes the psychological aspects of these conditions as well as the treatment options available to patients. Dr. Anderson also provides information about Huntingtons disease—its cause, treatments and genetic testing for the disease.
