Continuing medical education is one of the most important and well-regarded member services provided by the American Academy of Neurology (AAN). The Annual Meeting is the AAN’s premier continuing medical education event. It is internationally recognized in the neurologic community for the quality of its education and scientific programs as well as many networking opportunities.
In 2010 the Education Program will be energized with new, interactive programs that are designed to meet member needs. Debuting in Toronto are three new program types; each one will provide something unique: from the interactive, case study-focused Morning Report, to the fast updates in Neuro Flash, to the hands-on training at the Neurology Skills Pavilion, to the comprehensive update provided at the Specialists in Focus: Child Neurology sessions. These programs join the wide array of other quality CME offerings. In all, more than 175 Education Programs in 26 topics offer a range of learning styles. Topics are selected based on the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology maintenance of certification requirements and demonstrated need.
