Advanced Parkinson's Disease
Advanced Parkinson's Disease
The advanced stage of Parkinson’s disease is associated with a worsening of (motor and non-motor) symptoms and a marked restriction in patients’ mobility.
Advanced Parkinson’s patients often have a poorer response to medication and, although the same treatments are used that are available for the earlier stages or less severe Parkinson’s, they often require higher individual doses or more frequent dosing.
