Karl J Zilles
Karl J Zilles is a Professor of Neuroscience at the C & O
Vogt Institute of Brain Research at the Heinrich Heine
University in Düsseldorf and Director of the Institute of
Neuroscience and Medicine at the Research Centre
Jülich. His scientific focus is on neurotransmitter
receptors and their expression in the normal and
pathologically altered cerebral cortex. He is also working
on brain mapping using cytoarchitectonical, functional
imaging and receptor architectonical methods.
