Catherine A Schevon, MD, PhD, is Co-Director of the
Computational Neurophysiology Laboratory at the Neurological
Institute of Columbia University, where she also holds the
position of Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology.With the
support of a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Mentored
Career Development Award (K08-NS48871), she is investigating
the use of intracerebral recordings for seizure localization. She is
a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine,
and completed her post-graduate training at the University of
California, Los Angeles and Columbia University. She has extensive prior experience in signal
processing and systems engineering, both as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell
Laboratories and through training in electrical engineering and computer science at the Johns
Hopkins University, receiving her PhD in computer science.
